How to Get a Loan

Once you select us to obtain your home loan, you’ll be amazed at how quickly and simply the loan process moves. Before you know it, you’ll have a mortgage that suits your lifestyle and saves you money.

Throughout the loan-application process, we provide you with regular updates. You can also e-mail us with questions or new information. And if you want assistance, a mortgage expert who can answer questions is just a phone call away.

We like to break the loan-application process up in two phases:

PHASE ONE:  Initial Consultation and Pre-Qualification

You will have an initial conversation with your Loan Officer. This is called a Loan Consultation. In that conversation you and your Loan Officer will review different loan programs, discuss rates, timelines, and closing requirements. Once a loan program is selected, you will provide information that will allow us to begin the pre-qualification process. After pre-qualification, you can begin the process of finding your new home!

PHASE TWO: Complete the Loan Process

Once you are under contract with your new home, we will begin the loan process! Your Loan Officer will reach out and begin collecting the documents required to close your loan. A detailed checklist will be provided so you’ll know exactly what information is needed and when. After documentation is collected, your loan will be sent to Processing. In some cases additional information may be required once Processing completes their review. Your Loan Officer will keep you informed if this is the case. After processing, your loan heads to Underwriting for a final review. If additional documentation is required at this point, your Loan officer will let you know. After underwriting, your file will be sent to Closing and you will be ready to sign for your new house in 48 hours.
